Rama dismisses Erion Veliaj, announces Manastirliu as candidate for Tirana Mayor

Prime Minister Edi Rama announced the dismissal of Erion Veliaj as Mayor of Tirana from the Socialist Party Assembly, while announcing Ogerta Manastirliu as the candidacy for the Municipality of Tirana.

"Today we must make a political decision to pave the way for elections for a new mayor in Tirana. Tirana can no longer be a body without a head," said Rama. (Continued)
