Deputy Edmond Spaho was harsh with Enkelejd Alibeajn, who participated in the meeting of the Council of Mandates, securing the quorum, and voted in favor of removing Sali Berisha's immunity.
According to Spaho, voting in this meeting was also a matter of morality for those who identify themselves as democrats.
" We expected the vote in the Council of Mandates even with the vote of the one who claims to be part of the DP. It is a matter of morality. Because of the way he is positioned, he was expected to vote for it. We are dealing with a speculation by the majority in cooperation with SPAK. The Constitutional path was not followed, we would have voted for the removal of immunity. SPAK limited Berisha's movement with attributes belonging to the Assembly. SPAK is acting politically on the order of the Prime Minister ", said Spaho.
Furthermore, the democratic deputy added that Gazment Bardhi should have been part of the protest that was organized in front of the seat of the Presidency of the Assembly, since it was not held to protect Berisha, but the Constitution.
" It would be good if Bardhi was at the protest. It was not about protecting Berisha, but the Constitution. When we protect the Constitution, we protect the interests of the citizens. If the president of the DP goes to prison, then we will be behind Russia and Belarus. Protesting about it is normal. The cause of the protest was that Edi Rama has usurped all the powers, the academic world, the police ," Spaho declared on A2 CNN.
