In the empty courtyard of the headquarters, the only news seems to be produced by a parked Range Rover vehicle, which Lulzim Basha used when he led the Democratic Party.
The loss of the official logo and seal with the final decision of the Appeal is accompanied by financial costs for the former democratic president, who must hand over to Sali Berisha not only the symbols, but also other assets bought with the party's money.
The vehicle is not the only asset that must go to God. Lulzim Basha does not have the right to "put his hands" into the party coffers anymore, because the DP's finances are already in the process of being transferred to the governing body of the Democratic Party, which in court turns out to be the Re-establishment Commission, which does not has still led the financiers to take over the administration of the money as it is following all the legal procedures for this process.
Not far from the headquarters, another building bears the inscription: "Democratic Party of Albania". The offices where Lulzim Basha exercises his political activity, since June, their rent is no longer paid with party money controlled by Sali Berisha.
The former democratic chairman has been asked to return together with the party treasury and symbols, but Lulzim Basha has decided not to give up even for a while his dream to regain control of the party, keeping his hopes on the recourse made in court. / Top Channel
