President Bajram Begaj continues the second day of his visit to Calabria. Today he made several visits to the towns of the province of Cosenza, where he was received by the Arber community and the local authorities. The first stop of President Begaj was "San Demetrio Corone", where a special welcome ceremony was reserved for him, with the presence of the citizens of this municipality and its mayor Ernesto Madeo.
The Monument Square in "San Demetrio Corone" was decorated with Albanian flags, while the children who came out to meet President Begaj, in addition to the welcome banners, carried the flags of the two countries. President Begaj was invited by the mayor of the municipality of "San Demetrio Corone", Ernesto
Madeo at the Arbëresh song festival, a musical activity with the participation of all Arbëresh musical groups. President Begaj invited Albanian artists to be part of the festivals organized in Albania, offering his support and that of the Albanian institutions.
During his stay in the municipality "San Demetrio Corone", President Begaj visited the ancient church "Sant'Adriano". Afterwards, the Albanian head of state held a meeting with the Arbëresh community in "Santa Sofia D'Epirio", where he was received by the governing authorities, who also organized a show with Arbëresh folk songs and dances. President Begaj also visited the Byzantine church "Santa Sofia D'Epirio".
