Sali Berisha has chosen to close the year 2025 with a festive activity in Elbasan, among supporters and militants of the Democratic Party. In a video shared on social networks, the former prime minister appears in a joyful atmosphere, greeting the participants to the sounds of music and in the company of DP flags.
The activity comes at a time when Berisha has intensified his rhetoric against the government and Prime Minister Edi Rama, warning of new protests and mobilization of the grassroots for opposition actions. But the footage from Elbasan provides a stark contrast to this public line; a year-end party with tones of celebration, more than political tension.
