According to her, SPAK has two standards as it behaves differently with the opposition and differently with the majority, as it took as an example the measure imposed on former minister Ilir Beqaj for the sterilization affair.
"What I regret is that SPAK behaves differently with the opposition and differently with the majority. We have the case of Ilir Beqaj, who has been released, while tougher measures are required for the opposition. These measures could be taken if there was definite action and if he abused, but just by conjecture, this is not justice. Not with double standards", said the deputy.
Koti also commented on the draft budget, for which he expressed that he hopes that President Bajram Begaj will not approve it.
"Unfortunately, it has been a month of debates and criticism, since we chose to be in the hall and when the SP saw us, it decided to call the meeting online. It is not correct and it is against the regulation. Opposition deputies were not given the opportunity to express themselves
We have decided not to boycott commissions and sessions. The budget passed in principle for 20 minutes or in the Assembly for 5 minutes. I hope the president does not approve a bill passed so quickly and without debate.
The role of the opposition is to oppose what the government brings and presents to the commissions. But looking at the situation that they took away our word, maybe it was not a very good move for the approach of our action. Some colleagues have proposed amendments, which were rejected" , she said.
