Tensions in the Democratic Party continue to remain active and it seems that peace for the Democrats is far away. After the elections of May 14, the divided PD was divided even more with the drastic defeat they suffered.
Deputy of the Democratic Party Saimir Korreshi said that no part of the DP will win the 2025 elections if they are on different sides.
During an interview for 'News 24', Korreshi emphasized that former Prime Minister Berisha should reflect on losing the elections on May 14.
"Even Mr. Berisha should reflect on what happened on May 14. There are a lot of young men and women who were not muddy" , said the DP deputy.
Korreshi said that the gray electorate, seeing the disunity of the opposition, did not come out to vote, which, according to him, was a strong message for PD.
"People choose to flee because the political situation is dramatic in the country, there is no hope. With the current electoral formula, it doesn't even get five deputies", said Korreshi.
Asked about the return of Basha, Korreshi said that no one negotiates with losers, therefore a new spirit is needed in the party.
"Who will ask him if he has fallen into conversation with Edi Rama, because we tried everything. They mocked the idea of the president, they did the same for the territorial reform, why not mock this too. It started with def and ended with talava. He will receive the nomination in 2025 and will not speak at all and will fail and the Albanians will vote. Albanians have no choice, with this situation that is PD, this is how it will go.
People are negotiating with the SP for a job because they have inflated the administration so much that they have returned to the Democrats and are killing them. Why are they asking for something on the basis that it is coming back? Oh Lulzim, oh hero, let's make a joke. No one negotiates with losers. If we don't create spirit, we don't get those votes", concluded the deputy.
