After the DP vice president, Jorida Tabaku, two other members of the leadership, Ori Nebiaj and Flamur Hoxha, have resigned.
The latter in the letter sent to Gazment Bardhi also explains the reasons for the decision to resign.

I am conveying to you in writing my decision to resign as Organizational Secretary and member of the Presidency of the PDSH expressed at the extended meeting of the Presidency on June 6, as an individual political reflection in the conditions where the strength of my argument and that of many other colleagues deputies and members of the presidency, which was insufficient in the face of the force argument that was tried to be imposed on us as a solution to the crisis in which we find ourselves. Not even being in the position of "political leader" of the Kukes District, I make it clear that I will keep the mandate of the deputy given to me by the electorate of this district, having the interests of every citizen and every democrat as sacred and fighting for to every day of my parliamentary life!
As I emphasized in my speech at the Presidency meeting, DP needs a deep, comprehensive and strategic analysis and reflection, away from narrow individual interests and hasty mechanical solutions that do not ensure success, but stagnation. During these 10 years in the opposition, we have had many problems that have been overlooked without proper analysis and reflection, but especially the political direction during these last two years has been identified with chaos, dualism and lack of responsibility and I, as part of the collective direction, feel responsible deep and I think that today, more than ever, our party needs openness towards new figures, who overcome the fence of the debate where "we" and "them", "Berisha's" and "Basha's" are stuck. that in fact they are all democrats and oppositionists who want change for DP and for Albania. We need the unity of all democrats under one roof as one big family and we do not have the luxury of being torn apart by going after individuals and abandoning our sacred principles on which the DP was founded I and my family have contributed since the foundation until today.
My resignation is not an act of avoiding responsibility and commitment, but it is an act that requires the reflection of everyone who thinks that the interests of our membership and the citizens we represent are greater than our personal interest and career, and I ask that this resignation should also be read as an appeal that I make publicly today, for a return to constructive internal dialogue, in accordance with our Statute, the democratic spirit and the Euro-Atlantic interests of our party, starting not from exclusion, but from the acceptance of everyone who is or comes to this party with the sole purpose of changing the situation where we are.
Despite my principled disagreement with the form of making decisions under pressure for elections and party organization, I wish you success in fulfilling the tasks you have, once again emphasizing my clear Euro-Atlantic position as a deputy of the PDSH and a member of the current Parliamentary Group.
