Zegjine Caushi, Sara Mila, Marajana Koçeku and 36 other new Socialist Party deputies, who will join parliamentary life in September, will participate in the summer school taking place in the premises of the pink headquarters.
The summer school starts today, June 20th, and lasts for one month, until July 20th.
In the "Political Academy" training, which started at 09:00 this morning, the first lecturer will be former Minister of Interior, Fatmir Xhafaj.
The experienced socialist legislator began his first day as a lecturer, clashing with journalists for referring to him as a professor and his fellow MPs as his students.
"I believe you should be as serious as these people who have come," Xhafaj told reporters at the entrance to the SP headquarters.
"I will not be teaching and they are not students, they are my colleagues and as happens in any other job, someone who has previous experience tries to transmit it to their colleagues. Metaphorically, it is a pleasure for me to meet with my colleagues who I will share 4 years in the parliamentary session," he added further.
Asked if he has any messages for the new MPs, Xhafaj said he has some, but he will give them to them.
"I have some, but I'll give them to them," said Xhafaj.
