Prime Minister Edi Rama spoke about Albania's chairmanship of the Security Council, which he called a moment of pride for all Albanians.
Rama spoke in an interview for the show Real Story, from the hall where the day before he led one of the most important sessions of the last decade, on the topic "Respecting the goals and principles of the UN Charter through multilateralism: Keeping the peace and security of Ukraine".
"It is a historic moment for our country, Albania has never been higher than today in international relations and the direction of one of the most important sessions in the SC, in at least the last decade, by Albania in the role of Presidency of the Security Council , is an extraordinary fulfillment of a difficult effort and a series of years of work and weaving a new fabric of relations with the world and of a dynamic, dignified foreign policy, with the awareness that we are a small country, but at the same time with the responsibility of representing all Albanians with dignity and equally. It is truly a moment of pride for all Albanians and a motivation to understand together how much we can do if we have the right vision, direction and dedication," said Rama.
