The head of the Democratic Party parliamentary group, Gazment Bardhi, has called on citizens to join the opposition protest, which is expected to be held today at 6:00 PM in front of the Prime Minister's Office.
In a public reaction, Bardhi describes corruption as a danger to the country and considers the removal of Prime Minister Edi Rama as the only solution for, according to him, "the liberation of Albania."
"Today, at 6:00 PM, it is the moment to show with determination, all together, that Edi Rama's corruption is a danger," Bardhi writes on Facebook.
He adds that the fight against corruption, according to him, "risks Edi Rama's power, but liberates the economy and increases the well-being of citizens."
"When the Prime Minister declares the war on corruption as a danger, it is time for citizens to be even more determined to free Albania from Edi Rama's corruption. Today, at 6:00 PM, it is the moment to show with determination, all together, that Edi Rama's corruption is a danger and that his removal is the only solution for Albania to breathe freely.
"We are coming together today at 18:00 in the national protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office. The fight against corruption endangers Edi Rama's power, but frees the economy and increases the well-being of citizens," writes Bardhi.
