The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has reacted to the joint editorial published in the German newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ) by Prime Minister Edi Rama and the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, proposing a new strategic approach to advancing the European Union enlargement process.
During a conversation with citizens on social media, Berisha described the cooperation between Rama and Vučić as unacceptable, accusing the prime minister of siding with "Putin's ally."
"He wrote an editorial in a German newspaper with his employee Vučić. What the two heads of the most dangerous criminal organizations in Europe were looking for. Vučić has been found to have connections with the 'white wolf' and his gang. People who slaughtered and ground the meat of opponents on the banks of the Danum, like Ergys Agasi who solved the problems of Rama's private garden with 'pam-pam-pam'. He said there was no need for us to be full members of the EU, since we cannot meet the rules, but they said; 'give us the market'. He returned to the open Balkans, where he finally destroyed Albanian agriculture and the economy. He joins Putin's ally and with the one who sees that the door to Brussels and integration is being closed because of his theft. The Albanian opposition will have its polar star, integration.", said Berisha.
