The Minister of State for Relations with the Parliament, Elisa Spiropali stated that the reasons for the situation created recently in the Parliament of Albania can only be found in the individual today locked up at home, referring to Sali Berisha, already under house arrest.
The socialist MP added that as a citizen, she feels sorry for the country's opposition, as she declared that she still has no idea who the leader of the Democrats is.
" We find the reasons for this situation in the individual locked in his house today. I don't know how many square meters it has. And he refuses to transfer his legal problem at the expense of the opposition. At this stage of the negotiation process, we need all actors to have a discussion about what it means for Albania to open negotiations.
We have not yet raised the level of parliamentary discussion. Should we spend it in the state budget? What do you think of the opposition MPs who block the halls and do not allow the development of committees. These are criminal offences. We do not prosecute them. There are other institutions that do this. I am unclear who their leader is. It is not my case, but the court's. Some individuals claim to be DP leaders ," said Minister Spiropali, for "A2CNN".
