The KPK ended its mandate in December 2024 and Komici, one of the members of the body that conducted vetting for almost 5 years of prosecutors and judges, will from today head one of the state agencies dealing with food safety.

After the end of their mandate, members of the KPK sought to be part of the new judiciary, aiming for positions in the first instance or appeal courts, or in the prosecution bodies.
But it seems that the first of them, Olsi Komici, has found his place at the head of the AKU, being appointed to this position by a Government decision, following a proposal from the Ministry of Agriculture.
