The former head of SHISH, Fatos Klosi, has stated that the USA and Great Britain have evidence of the corrupt in Albania. In an interview for "SOT" newspaper, asked about the statement made a few days ago by the special envoy of the United States of America for the Western Balkans, Gabriel Escobar, who stated that corruption in the Balkans is a big problem, and if you think that the USA and Great Britain have evidence against the corrupt in Albania, he said that they have evidence as long as these statements are made.
According to him, they noticed that when Berisha was declared non grata in Albania, everything changed. Asked about the debate on the construction of a 64-story tower in the center of Tirana, where the son of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha is rumored to be hiding, Shkëlzen Berisha, how did he say that if permission was given by the City Council of Tirana and it was seen that a such a building is worth doing there will be done.
According to him, in Albania the problem is that constructions are used for money laundering. As he spoke about SPAK strikes and sensational files such as "Gërdeci", "21 Janari" and the privatization of the former Partizani complex, he said that the time for those who were involved to come to justice has come and gone.

-Has the time come for SPAK to hit the right as well, where many officials and former officials who have been involved in files such as "Gërdeci", "21 Janari", the privatization of the former Partizani complex will be held accountable?
Time has actually passed, these are events that happened 15 years ago. Time has come and gone, but I don't know their possibilities, because it takes time to look for the facts. It is not just about getting SPAK, because the latter will go to court and the verdict will be given there.
Janë ngjarje që ka kaluar shumë kohë, sepse vet organet speciale të drejtësisë dhe SPAK u krijuan që të merreshin me këto ngjarje që ishin kaluar përciptasi, biles kishin kaluar dhe në gjykatë dhe për Gërdecin e kishin cilësuar si incident teknologjikë, ose këtë të bulevardit e quajtën se u shkrep padashje pistoleta. Unë them se koha ka kaluar, por urojmë që ata t’i çojnë deri në fund.
-Keni një koment mbi rizgjedhjen e Lulzim Bashës në krye të Partisë Demokratike?
Lulzim Basha për shumë kohë hoqi dorë dhe i kaloj në heshtje shumë ngjarje që ndodhën brenda Partisë Demokratike dhe nuk e di tek cilët njerëz ai beson se mund ta përkrahin. Në zgjedhjet e fundit lokale që u bënë në vend përkrahja për Bashën ishte pothuajse zero, kështu që unë habitem si nuk i mori parasysh këto gjëra.
-Korrupsioni në Ballkan është një problem i madh. Kështu është shprehur pak ditë më parë i dërguari special i Shteteve të Bashkuara të Amerikës për Ballkanin Perëndimor, Gabriel Escobar, teksa paralajmëron “non-grata” të reja, ku të rrezikuar janë shumë politikanë dhe zyrtarë të lartë të zhytur në afera. A kanë SHBA, madje edhe Britania e Madhe prova kundër të korruptuarve në Shqipëri?
Po sigurisht që kanë. Korrupsioni nuk është një fenomen kaq i fshehur në të gjitha vendet e Ballkanit Perëndimor, kështu që mendoj se nuk bëjnë deklarata boshe ata. Kemi shpresë tek reforma në drejtësi, e cila nisi para disa vitesh dhe ishte nismë e tyre dhe ata duan aleatë të sigurt në rajonin e Ballkanit Perëndimor dhe aleatët nuk janë të sigurt nëse brenda vendit të tyre ka korrupsion kështu që kjo përpjekje e tyre është interes i rëndësishëm.
Rajoni është i rëndësishëm, sidomos pas luftës në Ukrainë është bërë shumë më i rëndësishëm. Interesi i SHBA që këto vende të rajonit të janë vende që nuk e ndërrojnë politikën e tyre aq kollaj dhe vende serioze. Pavarësisht se kush janë qeveritë në pushtet në Shqipëri të dyja palët për korrupsion kanë kritikuar njëra- tjetrën.
E quaj shumë serioze këtë deklaratë të tyre dhe ata e kanë vënë re që kur u shpall Berisha non grata në Shqipëri ndryshoj gjithçka, u shkatërrua Partia Demokratike dhe nuk po merr dot veten. Pra, është një provë se deklarimi non grata i personazheve të rëndësishme në vendin tonë është shumë i rëndësishëm dhe do ta përdorin këtë armë, pasi është armë në duart e Shteteve të Bashkuara të Amerikës për të ndihmuar luftën kundër korrupsionit.
Berisha said they don't have any evidence for me and nothing happened, he was declared non grata, and now he's wanted and is looking for a way to participate in the elections, so now it's different from what it was before. I would very much like what Escobar said to come true.
- Do you think there will be changes in the government?
In fact, Rama himself said that we should wait for the Assembly of the Socialist Party. I say that there should be changes because of course there are ministers who have worked better and there are those who have worked less and some should be replaced. It is normal that from time to time there are changes, and I wish there would be changes so that there would be some competition within the government, for many reasons, so that new people could be promoted.
