Ferit Hoxha continues to act ignorant when it comes to insults against Albanians in North Macedonia. Even though the messages came out in the open, Ferit continues to be shaken.
He hosted Izet Mexhiti, leader of the Democratic Movement in North Macedonia and mayor of the Municipality of Chair, in a meeting today. After the speeches, journalists asked him for a comment regarding the messages made public, taking out his anger on the media.
" You are stuck in last week, while things have evolved. There is nothing true in those messages, you will not drag me wherever you want, I have evolved, Albania is walking on the EU path and I will not deal with smoke and mirrors ," he said.

Yesterday, the Albanian Coalition in North Macedonia, VALEN, reacted after the publication of the message, considering its content a serious problem on the political and diplomatic level.
In a published photo, the message of Minister Ferit Hoxha is visible, describing the Albanians of North Macedonia as idiots.
In a statement, VLEN emphasizes that the language used in the message is offensive towards Albanians in North Macedonia and contradicts institutional communication standards. According to this entity, the manner of expression raises doubts about the attitude that a state representative holds towards compatriots outside the territory of Albania.
The coalition emphasizes that the case cannot be treated as an ordinary misunderstanding, referring to the numerous reactions that have come from public figures and citizens in both countries.
VALEN states that deleting the message does not undo the impact it had on the public and requires a clear stance from Hoxha himself. At the same time, it criticizes the lack of reaction from institutions in Albania, which have not taken a visible stance on this issue.
