The clashes between Edi Rama and Elisa Spiropali deepen.
The leader of the Socialist Party (SP) gathered the group today at the Brigades Palace, where the Foreign Minister reported. But Edi Rama has not spared the former minister, warning her of expulsion from the parliamentary group if she continues with the criticism.
According to sources, Rama paused at the end of the meeting for a few minutes on the case of Spiropali, highlighting her absences from voting and attacks on social media.
He is quoted as saying: " The first time you didn't come to vote ( Balluk's immunity ). The second time you made the bedsheet ( referring to the Facebook post ) and the third time you don't, you get out of this group ."
Following his speech, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of discipline within the party and avoiding public conflicts.
" You can't make dramas in the party's work, and that's why I'm addressing you, Elisa. I don't want you to create situations in the party. The party has two colors, black and white. Either white and with us, or black and against us ," he said.
According to the same sources, Rama clarified that his stance was a response to Spiropali's posts on social media.
At the end of the meeting, Elisa Spiropali asked to speak, but was not allowed to do so by the Prime Minister. He is reported to have declared: " You cannot respond here, you are no longer allowed to speak, the Socialist Party and I are invested with you ."
Even at the group meeting a month ago, also at the Brigades Palace, there was a retort between Edi Rama and Spiropali. The latter then made a strong reaction on social networks, coming out against the party line. However, Rama has warned him today that if he continues, then he will leave. Rama po përgatit daljen e tij në pension në këtë rast! PS nuk është një fermë e Ramës dhe as PS nuk është një Parti Koreane e Punëtorëve. PS nuk mund të jetë kurrë "e zezë" ose "e bardhë".
