Images showing a serious situation have been published from the premises of a school in the village of Thanë, in the administrative unit of Fiershegan, Lushnje Municipality, where the hygienic and sanitary conditions appear degraded and problematic for the safety of students.
The video was made public by MP Saimir Korreshi. In the distributed material, the toilets appear in a dilapidated condition, without doors and windows, depreciated and practically unusable.
According to the footage, the situation is further aggravated by the presence of snakes in these environments, which increases the risk for students attending the school.
Even the schoolyard appears to be in an inadequate condition, filled with garbage.
In his reaction, Korreshi ironically addressed the education reforms, pointing out the difference between official statements and the reality evidenced on the ground.
"The situation of the bathrooms. No doors, no windows. When I said we were dealing with cesspools, you said, order them, you have them. This is the sequence: cesspool, bathroom, environment, snakes. This is the situation that the villagers in the villages are facing. The reform of these people in education that they have taken away our minds and that they are showing us. Order them! It's outrageous, isn't it outrageous?! When I say that they are bathrooms without... without doors, they remove them, they are forced, they are cesspools, garbage. Garbage, garbage, you saw it yourself, garbage. Order the schoolyard, how we have it, look. Look at how you have the garbage in the schoolyard. Here I am with the cesspools. Look at what you have back here, that is, what horror. Black face!", said Korreshi.
