Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha and Prime Minister Edi Rama engaged in a remote debate regarding public procurement. Berisha accused the Government of awarding 1.5 billion euros in tenders to 10 businessmen, while making 800 payments from the Treasury to Armando Frangu in just 1 year.
The democratic leader even accused the Prime Minister of presenting incorrect data regarding the state of public procurement in the country, describing his statement as open fraud.
"Edi Rama and his government of fraud declare that it has procured 10 percent of GDP per year and proclaims itself a champion. An unscrupulous fraudster. How did he carry out the fraud? He calculated public procurements and canceled public procurements. If canceled procurements are deducted from the country's public procurements, Albania has one of the lowest levels of public procurement in the world, and not that it does not have 10, but it has a total of 4.9 percent. This is a banal story of a delinquent man who either deceives on purpose or is a tabula rasa and does not know what he is saying ," Berisha said.

But this time, Rama has decided to respond, while stating that Albania is internationally valued like never before, in the field of procurement, where great progress has been made and is on the rise. Rama even states that with Diella in public procurement, a level of integrity and speed will be achieved within this mandate that will rank us at the highest European level, thanks to Artificial Intelligence.
" The big fool throws a stone into the river and then the little ones act like they're smart enough to pull it out, saying that the integrity of public procurement in Albania has declined!"
But how did it mark this decline, when in fact Albania was included for the first time in the European portal for measuring the integrity of procurement for European Union countries, coming out better than many of them, neither the big nor the small have a clue how to say this, because stupidity has no limits except itself.
"What matters is that those who don't want to, whether they want to or not, today Albania is internationally valued like never before, even in the field of procurement, where we have made great progress and are still on the rise, because with Diella in public procurement, we will reach within this mandate, a level of integrity and speed that will rank us at the highest European level, thanks to Artificial Intelligence ," Rama writes.
