The General Secretary of the DP, Flamur Noka, speaking about the discussions of the last two days in the Assembly, said that the opposition decided to make the budget transparent to the Albanians.
" This is the biggest budget theft in these Renaissance years. Edi Rama and Rilindja have only propaganda as the backbone of their work, this is a narco-budget. In two days, the expertise of the opposition revealed the entire narco-budget ", said Noka, in the show "Open" on News24.
He said that a budget that comes without a fiscal package is done to camouflage any theft that will be done.
" When a government that will make transparency brings the budget together with the fiscal package. The Prime Minister himself chose to just take revenge because he had no way to protect this budget" , said Noka.
He said that this is not a budget for pensioners, as he made a comparison with Kosovo's budget, where pensions increased by 20 percent.
" Only 4.1% of pensioners increased their pensions, while the budget is 8.2 billion euros. In Kosovo, pensions increased by 20%, when the budget is 3.2 billion euros. A dog that the governors keep at home eats 8,000 Lek in one meal, while we give these to the pensioner to buy medicine, bathe and feed 8,000 Lek or a maximum of 15,000 Lek , "said Noka.
According to him, from 2014 to 2024, pensions have increased by 26% while inflation has increased by 34%. "Just from inflation, the pensioner today receives 8% less than 10 years ago. For farmers, the designated fund is a mockery and humiliation," said Noka.
Asked if the protest outside the Parliament and the debate inside the Assembly hall were productive, Noka said that the entire opposition action inside and outside had only one goal: transparency.
" The protest in front of the Assembly was called in solidarity with pensioners, it was a protest of pensioners", said Noka. He said that civil disobedience is not related to participation. "Civil disobedience, 5 people there and 5 here carry out the mission. The turnout was excellent. For us, the number does not matter, we did not call thousands of protesters to overthrow the Assembly ", said Noka.
