Democratic candidate Ilir Alimehmeti has commented on the irritation of Socialist MP Erion Braçe, who denounced that his votes are being deliberately taken away, even though, according to him, the will of the voters has been clearly expressed.
Alimehmeti agrees with the socialist on this case and asks KAS to take responsibility for these votes that were once counted as valid and are now not considered in the recount process.
" First of all, this is a phenomenon that we have seen a lot on ballots. This is an expression of the will of the voter. Then, whether the CEC considers it valid or not is a technical matter. The voter expressed his opinion on the surname and there is no wonder that 1 in 200 people voted on the surname. Then, whether the CEC counts it or not is up to it. But it counts it once and then not, and it must explain this as well.
"The KAS has decided not to count all of these. Braçe is right here. These are not added. They do not call it valid, but this is an expression of will. You cannot confuse these with stolen votes ," Alimehmeti said on "A2 CNN".
