The Democratic Party, through an official request, asks the CEC for security camera footage from the warehouse in Lundë, where election materials were kept.
This request, according to the Democrats, has to do with the transparency of the process. It is not yet known whether Sali Berisha's Democrats will reveal anything from the footage they claim to have in their hands, but what is being seen is that from the recount process, there are several hundred votes that were considered to belong to the DP and SP, while they either belong to other entities or were invalid and were considered valid.
And while votes for the entities and candidates are being recounted in Tirana, in his capacity as the legal representative of the Democratic Party entity, Marash Logu, in the letter signed by him, requests the availability of film footage of the premises inside and outside it.
In their request, the Democrats are requesting video footage of the premises inside and outside the warehouse in Lundë, where election materials are stored, for the period April 10-20, 2025.
"In the capacity of the legal representative of the electoral subject "Democratic Party - Alliance for a Greater Albania" in order to verify any information and denunciation received by our structures regarding the parliamentary elections of May 11, 2025, as well as the full transparency of this process, through this letter we request the provision of film footage of the premises inside and outside the warehouse premises in Lundë where the electoral materials for the period April 10-20, 2025 are stored. We remain awaiting your response, within the shortest possible time. Marash Logu," the request states.
