Interview for RAI3, Rama: You cannot call the narco-state a country that has

Prime Minister Edi Rama conducted an interview on the "Report" program of "Rai3" as he commented on the agreement with immigrants and not only.

Addressing the journalist, Rama said that you cannot call a country like Albania, which has opened negotiations with the EU, a narco-state.

Rama further said that there is no mafia in Albania, but there are exponents who operate in the international mafia and who do not live in our country, but in countries such as the Netherlands, Ecuador, etc.

"What are the drugs?! Don't you feel like you're giving me proof of that program's nastiness yourself? Calling the narco-state a country that has opened negotiations with the European Union, to join the EU... Opening talks with the European Union is not the same as opening TV programs and gathering together similar views, but it is about carrying out some homework that is over-monitored, fact by fact. Yes, I know, the characters you chose to invite without the right of reply to that program think so, but they are all characters who have problems with justice.

I believe that when talking about such things, you should always look at the facts. To talk about the exponential growth of the Albanian mafia means, above all, to talk about an international mafia that knows no borders, that has no ethnicity. And since they come from different countries and that, for example, their Eldorado is not in Albania, it is in the Netherlands, it is in the Port of Rotterdam. Yesterday, the Wall Street Journal published an article about the Netherlands and Belgium that made Italy look like a sterile country and Albania a castrated country from the point of view of mafia capacities.

So, what are we talking about and why is it never said that the Netherlands is a drug state? Which is not... But it's so easy to call Albania a drug country as if you're not saying anything, while Albania today is a different country and you can prove it," said Rama.
