Ana Dajko, cousin of Adriatik Lapaj, who became an MP from the "Albania Initiative" coalition, appeared today at the first plenary session of the 11th legislature of the Albanian Parliament, for the constitution of the new composition resulting from the May 11 elections.
She did not escape the media, which captured her first statement, during which the MP seemed "overwhelmed" by emotions.
Dajko also commented on the news from the Greek media 'apenadi.blogspot.com', which revealed for the first time the 60-year-old's origins and her connections to Greece.
"I am Albanian and I have the right as an Albanian citizen to think... I will work for these young boys and girls who worked and continue their work for him in these four years. My word will be an expression of the success of the entire party," said Dajko.
Ana Dajko, a 60-year-old from Saranda who has never been involved in politics and who fictitiously ran in Tirana, will be the only MP of the “Nisma Shqipëria Bëhet” Coalition. The Electoral College put the seal on the conflict between Adriatik Lapaj and Endri Shabani, by not sending to the Assembly either Lapaj, the most voted candidate from the open list, or Kleana Xhuveli, Lapaj’s cousin from the closed list.
