"I am innocent"/ Fredi Beleri 'cries' to the Greek Prime Minister for the sentence in Albania

Fredi Beleri met with the Greek Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, today immediately upon arrival in Athens.

As can be seen from the images published by the Greek media, Beleri was received by Mitsotakis at the Maximos Palace.

It is learned that during the meeting the Greek Prime Minister stated that "Albania's path to the EU is through respecting the values ​​of the EU".

We recall that Beleri, the New Democracy MEP, left Albanian prisons this morning after securing a 5-day permit to travel to Athens and then to Strasbourg, where he will take the oath as MEP on July 16.

Beleri was received at Athens airport with hugs, applause and cheers, where he declared that "I am innocent".
