Deputy Jorida Tabaku, through a post on social networks, has expressed that politics should not hold the country's integration process hostage.
Tabaku stated that in the Parliament of Albania there are 4 laws against the spirit of EU legislation.
Tabaku said that the gambling law contradicts the EU legislation as well as the strategic investment law, which again violates the SAA and competition.
"Today, it has become customary to use the word integration without a place. In a hall full of public administration going with lists we saw actors who remember that giving a show means working for the integration process.
As we speak, at least 4 laws are in Parliament, which are not only in the spirit of EU legislation. Starting from the public procurement law which violates the Stabilization and Association Agreement to the gambling law, a commissioned law, to the law on protected areas which contradicts EU environmental legislation, continuing with the law of strategic investments, which again violates the SAA and competition.
In this game of words, in these 10 long years "the negotiations were opened, the negotiations were not opened", the biggest penalized was the public administration. Today, the integration process needs to expand the path of negotiations, not to keep them only at the technical level, to invite young people who have studied abroad, to open the process outside of nepotistic political theories that unfortunately have taken place in the public administration today, to invite civil society, interest groups and make this a national process.
No one needs a show, no one needs a theater or actors; Albanians today expect people and citizens to be placed at the center of this process. Don't hold politics hostage! This means working for integration, putting people in the center and thinking about Albania and the future!", says Tabaku.
