The deputy of the Democratic Party, Arbi Agalliu, has criticized his democratic colleagues, who today blocked the floor of the Assembly and did not allow the session to take place.
Through a post on Facebook, Agalliu writes that violence and boycott cannot be an alternative for Albanians in 2023.
According to him, the boycott of institutions and the blocking of parliamentary activity is not what Albanians expect, while he emphasizes that the opposition has its place in the parliament, in the parliamentary commissions and wherever the law and the constitution allow. Agalliu further adds that only Edi Rama and his government benefit from this behavior of Berisha.
"Albanian democracy has been hit as many times as there have been boycotts and blockades. What Albania needs today is not a boycott but spirit and alternatives.
Spirit is created when you are honest and moral in political action. Unfortunately, you cannot fight corruption with corrupt people.
All the more to claim and violently ask to be accepted by an entire people, who reject you by vote continuously.
Only Edi Rama and the corrupt government benefit from this behavior of Berisha and his deputies", writes Agalliu.
