Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha has arrived at the premises of the blue headquarters, while at noon it is expected that the Council of Mandates will examine the request for the removal of his immunity.
While the meeting at the Presidency of the Assembly is expected to start at 12:00, Berisha has announced an exit for the media at 11:00.
Meanwhile, the Democratic Party of Reestablishment has warned of holding a protest in front of the premises of the Presidency of the Assembly.
Meanwhile, the State Police has taken increased measures for the protest, where numerous police forces equipped with gas masks have been deployed near the Presidency of the Assembly and the Prime Minister's Office.
The officers have also placed a "fence" at the door of the Presidency building, while guards are stationed inside it, also equipped with gas masks.
Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha also reacted to these measures, saying that Rama is terrified.
"Terrify Rama and his drug-governors! Battle without return! Long live the Opposition", he wrote.
