The US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, gave clear messages today regarding justice.
The reform is being attacked and anathema from all sides and Blinken emphasized justice 3 times. First, he met with some of the chief justices. Then, in the conference with Rama, he stated that the reform is important for them. After he left, he reacted on the "X" network, where he again mentioned justice and the fight against corruption.
But what made the most impression was the meeting that Blinken had with the head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, the head of the Constitutional Court Holta Zaçaj, the head of the ILD Artur Metani and the head of the Supreme Court, Sokol Sadushi.
It is about 4 names that have been attacked and anathematized very strongly recently, especially by one person: Sali Berisha. The latter leaves no occasion without attacking them in every outing, and Blinken today greeted them and gave them support.
Although the meeting was short and not as planned, the fact that they spoke for 10 minutes with the secretary shows US support for justice. And the message was clear both for Berisha and for everyone else that the USA is behind the new justice bodies. He also made it clear that they should not be attacked.

Berisha's attacks on Dumani: "My friends, only one person protects Edi Rama in Albania and that is Altin Dumani. This is Altin Dumani. Sulmet e Berishës ndaj Artur Metanit: "Edhe njëherë theksoj se afera e djegësave është vjedhja e shekullit, kurse hetimi është hetimi i shekullit. Sipas burimeve origjinale, po ushtrohet presion i madh ndaj ekipit të hetimit të vjedhjes së shekullit. Në këtë kontekst, kërkoj të hetohet çdo kontakt i cilitdo punonjës me ekipin e hetimit të vjedhjes së shekullit. Në këtë kontekst, kërkoj dorëheqjen e menjëhershme të inspektorit të lartë të drejtësisë, Artur Metani, i cili është ligjërisht dhe penalisht një nga përgjegjësit më kryesorë të aferës së djegësave në Shqipëri. Artur Metani, informoj shqiptarët, se është bashkë me Engjëll Agaçin, njeriu që ka argumentuar, që ka marrë pjesë në të gjithë argumentimet ligjore të Këshillit të Ministrave. Artur Metani, ish-drejtues i departamentit juridik të Këshillit të Ministrave, që është gardiani kryesor i vendimeve të Këshillit të Ministrave, bashkë me Agaçin kanë legjitimuar një procedurë krimi. Artur Metani është i zhytur kokë e xhep në vjedhjen e shekullit”.
Sulmet e Berishës ndaj Holta Zaçaj: “Para dy ditësh, ajo që është kryetare e Gjykatës Kushtetuese, u tha shqiptarëve se është e paimagjinueshme të mos zbatohet vendimi për Ndrikull Xhaçkën, për Olta Xhaçkën, vendimi i gjykatës. Në emër tuaj, nuk më vjen mirë të merrem me një zonjë, por kur tejkalon çdo lloj limiti, nuk ke rrugë tjetër. Asaj zonje i them, më e paimagjinueshme se çdo gjë tjetër janë vendimet e tua të turpshme dhe kriminale. Zonjë, që nga paratë e këtyre qytetarëve, edhe të papunë, taksat e tyre, merr sot një rrogë 20 përqind më të lartë se kryetarja e Gjykatës Kushtetuese të Sllovenisë, një vend me të ardhura pesë herë më të larta se Shqipëria, ajo që nuk mund ta imagjinojë një njeri është të shkruash në zyrën tënde të turpit, Kushtetutën e vendit. T’i hiqesh të drejtën opozitës për ankesë të pakushtëzuar që i ka njohur Kushtetuta. Të shpallësh entitet parlamentin, që nuk e njeh Kushtetuta si të tillë. Ku ke ti moral të flasësh për imagjinatë, kur ti nuk njeh as të drejtën kushtetuese të vendit tënd, as të drejtën ndërkombëtare. A e di ti zonjë se në të drejtën ndërkombëtare, në konventat që ka firmosur ky shtet, ti kurrë nuk mund të votoje për ndërtimin e Skavicës, se ajo që ti bëhesh këshilltare e narkoshtetit, që është turpi i dheut, e di çfarë do të thotë ajo këshillohu, do të thotë se ke shkelur ligjin ndërkombëtar, do të thotë se ke vendosur pa pyetur komunitetin, do të thotë se vendimi nuk ka vlerë, do të thotë se ligji nuk ka vlerë”.
Berisha's attacks on Sokol Sadushi: "What is happening today in Albanian justice? Albanian justice has a "satrap" and this "satrap" is called Sokol Sadushi. You mean why do I call it that? Secondly, all administrative issues with the state are reviewed by the Administrative College chaired by Sadushi. Thirdly, all issues of customs, taxes, oil, energy have the president of the court, the Sadush of the party. Fourth, 95% of the cases of the Administrative College, of the College of Sadush, are done in the Counseling Chamber without the presence of the parties, and only 5% are done with the presence of the parties.
