Conference of Presidents, Boçi: Give us a guarantee that you will vote on

Other details have emerged from the meeting of the Conference of Speakers, which is taking place one day after yesterday's session in the Albanian Parliament, where there was no shortage of tensions and debates.

Today's meeting of the Conference of Speakers was also accompanied by debates, where the opposition continues to accuse the majority of violating the Rules of Procedure of the Assembly.

Luciano Boçi, a DP MP, said that the majority is acting strategically, while emphasizing that Gazment Bardhi did not disrupt yesterday's session.

"You are presenting yourself to us differently today. You are playing with gentleness with the aim of making it seem as if the problem in this country for confrontation is Gazment Bardhi, who is absent today."

The fact is that Gazment Bardhi didn't disrupt the session yesterday, you did! He's not to blame! In fact, a strong political and human reaction is needed.

If this does not happen, you will continue to do this. The fact that you and I are less emotional does not make us better men. You, yesterday, did not even give me the floor for procedure. The deviation of the debate and misinterpretation of the regulation was the reason for our revolt. We do not accept to anathematize our group leader. His behavior is not individual, it is a representation of our behavior. We will react strongly. And do not speak as if we have unethical language. Who are you telling this to?! I am close to you. You do not leave anything without swearing without a microphone. You do not leave insults without use. You leave us these victimizations," he said.

He has requested guarantees that the Resolution on the Serbian genocide in Kosovo will be voted on in the Assembly next week.

"I'm telling you here, give me a guarantee today, here at the Conference of Presidents, that next week you will vote on the Resolution on the Serbian genocide in Kosovo. And we will not only participate in the protest, but, if you want, I myself will give a speech there. But please, do not play politics with the pain of those families who have lost their relatives in the war; do not turn the blood of martyrs and the fallen into political props.

Show with concrete actions that you love Kosovo, the war, its independence and its commanders, not just with words and speeches. “Scripta manent, verba volant” The resolution writes history, and voting for it puts us in history, not party rallies that turn history into props for political interests, he said.
