Elections for the Municipality of Mati, SP official challenges Rama: I will run as an independent

The partial elections for the Municipality of Mati seem to have produced surprises in the last few hours, as one of the local figures of the Socialist Party has challenged the decision of Prime Minister Edi Rama, running as an independent.

We are talking about the chairwoman of the Socialist Party Women's Forum in Mat, Suzana Pasha Hoti, who yesterday registered the Initiative Committee in the Mat CEAZ to run as an independent candidate for the November 9 by-elections. 

She has expressed dissatisfaction with the official SP candidate, Altin Bojni, Report TV reports.

According to reports, SP representatives in this CEAZ attempted to prevent her registration, but thanks to the majority of opposition members in this CEAZ, the DP votes enabled the registration of the Initiative Committee of the chairwoman of the Socialist Women's Forum.
