Today Kukësi chooses the new chairman of the DP, who are the two candidates in the race

Today, the branch of the Democratic Party in Kukës is holding elections for its leader. The voting process started in the morning and is expected to close in the evening.

In the race for the leadership of PD-Kuka, there are two candidates, Rrahman Dema, currently the vice president of this branch, and Gëzim Shehu, members of the presidency.

The selection of two candidates in the competition came after a process of more than 2 weeks of proposals made by each member of the sections and then their transfer to the Chair and to the center for the verification of figures.

The elections in this branch are held due to the resignation of its chairman Admir Sinamati in November 2022, a resignation that preceded his candidacy under the DP logo for the head of the Municipality of Kukës.
