DP Programmatic Assembly, Pampuri: We strengthen the role of women, more support

The Democratic Party led by Lulzim Basha held today the Program Assembly for the presentation of the program for the upcoming political elections, with the slogan "Albania deserves more".

The vice president of the Democratic Party, Oriola Pampuri, said that the DP is the first political force that has a program ready for Albanian families and a concrete plan for exiting the crisis.

According to her, Albania is going more and more in the wrong direction every day.

She said that, in the government of the Democratic Party, 5 million euros will be the grant for the establishment of 1000 new businesses only for women entrepreneurs.

" Persons with disabilities will be a real part of our governing decisions and services will be subsidized according to their needs. The payment for persons with disabilities will be 70% of the minimum wage. We will change the status of orphans, expanding the number of beneficiaries, including those who do not have one parent ", declared Pampuri.

According to her, emigration, the uncertainty of starting new families, the decrease in the birth rate and high housing costs prevent young families from building a future in their country.

" DP, in its governance, will subsidize the full interest of housing loans for 30,000 young couples. It will enable full salary for the period of maternity leave for working mothers ", she said.

She said that DP will enable the orientation of girls and women to attend studies or complete professional courses in the fields related to information technology, through the "Women in Digitization" program.

" We will increase wages, enable differentiated taxation and support vocational education to improve the gender balance in occupations that have traditionally been dominated by men. We will promote the participation of women and girls in general or vocational secondary education and we will provide financial support for women and girls who contribute to the handicraft industry ", stated Pampuri.
