Former LSI MP, Lefter Maliqi, has described the arrest of Ilir Meta as a "political arrest".
He emphasized that Meta, unlike others, has never evaded justice and has always responded to the prosecution's calls.
Maliqi also focused on the situation within the Freedom Party, where he acknowledged that the absence of the historic leader has created a vacuum, but harshly criticized those who, according to him, abandoned him for personal interests.
Maliqi also made a prediction, saying that after being released from prison, Meta could join forces with Kryemadhi.
" My wish and belief is that when he gets out of prison, he will be reunited with Monica. This is my wish and I believe it will happen, " he said.
Maliqi argued that their reunion would be essential for the PL leader's political future.
