"I asked Malltezi to take the leadership of the DP in 2013", Noka reveals Argita's future at the head of the party!

MP Flamur Noka has stated that he sees only Sali Berisha and no one else as the leader of the DP.

Noka stated this when she was asked on the show "Now" on Euronews Albania, if she wants Berisha's daughter Argita Malltezi to be at the head of the DP.

While saying that he has respect for the latter, Noka recalled that he asked Malltezin in 2013 to take over the leadership of the party but that she did not accept.

" I have the leader of the DP and I am not looking for a leader, whoever is looking for a leader should continue to look for him. To this day, I respect Argita immensely. Today I have Berisha as leader because he got the vote of the Democrats. He is mandated as the chairman of the DP. I once begged Argita to take over the party, but he did not accept ," said Noka.
