The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has issued strong accusations during a press conference from the Blue House. He targeted Prime Minister Rama and Suel Çela, a well-known name in the underworld.
Berisha stated that Suel Çela is meticulously implementing, day and night, Edi Rama's orders to secure the parliamentary mandate for a candidate named Sara Mila.
"Suel Çela is carrying out Edi Rama's orders day and night to elect a Mile, Mile, Sara Mila, MP. Rama was telling Suel: your contribution to the election will be measured by how many votes candidate Sara Mila will receive," Berisha said.
The opposition leader warned of consequences for the actions he described as a "monstrous electoral crime," stressing that those responsible will face the most severe punishment.
"I tell Sueli that he will be punished in the most severe way for the monstrous electoral crime," Berisha said, hinting that the opposition is closely following developments on the ground for the May 11 parliamentary elections.
