Closing the microphones in the last session, Redi Muçi accuses Pelesh:

Joint Movement MP Redi Muçi said in the Assembly that closing the previous session for 25 minutes is unprecedented and authoritarian.

He pointed the finger at the Speaker of the Parliament, Niko Peleshi, accusing him of turning off the microphones of MPs on the orders of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

"What happened in the last session is unprecedented. The closure was in violation of the regulations but also an unprecedented act that undoes parliamentarism in our country. Albania is not an autocracy, so in the most important session where the government program would be debated, do not turn off the microphones of the opposition deputies as if they were in North Korea. If one or two deputies disrupt the session, the regulations provide for disciplinary measures. You Peleshi have not understood the role of the chair you are sitting in. Your duty is to ensure the smooth running of the plenary session and not to obey Rama's orders to turn off the microphones ," said Redi Muçi.
