Mimi Kodheli, candidate for deputy from the Socialist Party, spoke about the May 11 race and the electoral campaign that begins this weekend.
Kodheli stated, among other things, that she will seek another mandate as a member of parliament and this time she will enter the race with the weight of the experience she has on her shoulders in Albanian politics, but emphasizes that she continues to have the enthusiasm of a young girl.
" We started earlier than usual. The good thing is that you get the message to more families' doors. The "bad" thing is that sometimes people are pressured. Every campaign has its own characteristics and is different.
Even 4 years ago I was on the open list where the quotient had to be broken, so I am not in a warm-up, but in a long training. I have competed in the majoritarian, and I also have different experiences. This today should have been focused on the great project of the SP. I often observe that there is a clash between candidates and this is not good for the citizens or the candidates. This is inevitable, but I would have liked the candidates to have focused more on what the SP claims to do during the next 4 years of governance , "she said.
" I am in competition and I do not take competitions lightly. I am generally characterized by seriousness in my work and this time I carry the weight of experience and being a woman and a mother, a grandmother, they are a lot of weight. This makes me more responsible, but I continue to have the enthusiasm of a young girl ," said Kodheli.
