After the EU delegation's statement on the approval of the law on protected areas, Prime Minister Edi Rama also reacted on the "X" social network.
Rama says that the amendments approved today for the law on Protected Areas are 100% in agreement with the European Union.
Rama has published the reaction of the EU and emphasizes that in these last 10 years an exemplary progress has been made in the protection of biodiversity.
"100% in agreement with the European Union! With the vision of Albania 2030 and the unwavering will to make this country a top-level Mediterranean tourist destination, we have made in the last 10 years an exemplary progress in the protection of biodiversity and today we are the first in the region for the amount of protected areas. Today's changes strengthen the basis of our ambitious path for sustainable development in harmony with the stunning beauty of Albania," writes Rama.
