The Assembly of Albania has ratified with 77 votes in favor the Rama-Meloni agreement for immigrants with the PDIU that joined the votes with the SP.
On the other hand, PDIU's move to combine votes with the majority to pass with 77 votes in favor of the immigrant agreement with Italy caused a discussion between Shpëtim Idrizi, Jorida Tabaku and Gazment Bardhi, who were seen debating in the courtyard.
In a statement after the plenary session, Mesila Doda, as part of the PDIU, "justified" the decision of the political force she represents to unite the votes with the majority, which gave the green light to the ratification of the agreement between Italy and Albania for immigrants.
"We are talking about a friendly country that always supported us in the integration process and during crises. The agreement would have to be supported by all. For the issue of amnesty, it depends on the layers that benefit. Parliament is not for war, it is to find the best laws for the country. We must have the opportunity to have our say. I will have to read the draft as I don't have a final one," declared Mesila Doda.
