Democratic leader Sali Berisha, during a meeting with Democrats from units 8 and 9 in Tirana, said that we must remove Edi Rama from the post of Prime Minister, as no one will come here from abroad to remove him.
Referring to the messages of Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, on the occasion of Independence Day, Berisha said that the US is now clear that we have a narco-state here, and therefore will cooperate with law enforcement institutions to fight drug cartels.
"Why don't they know who took the special plane to Aruba? Of course they know," Berisha said, adding, "but don't expect the US and anyone else to come here and overthrow Edi Rama, because that's what we have to do."
But in his speech, the democratic leader seems to have also found those who, according to him, sabotaged the opposition's victory on May 11.
Berisha said that the DP will conduct a full analysis of the election results, but there were those who did not work in the campaign, and immediately after the elections they took the positions given to Edi Rama.
"Shame on them for what they did," said Berisha.
