The Chairman of the CEC, Ilirjan Celibashi, in a press conference outlined the deadlines for the registration of political parties and coalitions for the general elections on May 11.
"A political party that will be registered as an electoral subject must submit this request no later than 75 days from the date of the elections. Requests for registration of coalitions must be filed with the CEC no later than 70 days before the date of the elections.
February 25th is the deadline for submitting requests for parties to register as electoral subjects and initiative committees.

On March 7, the filing requirement for coalition registration ends.
On March 12, the deadline for submitting multi-name candidate lists ends.
The deadline for verifying candidates' documents ends on March 17th.
"The deadline for approving multi-name lists ends on March 25," he said.
