From the cauldron to the half-empty glass, Rama is angry with the media:

Online media has become a territory where forces unfriendly to the EU also intervene. Naturally, if you leave your house without windows, without a roof and pretend to sleep comfortably, then you believe in a world that does not exist. We will do something that 24 EU countries have not

Prime Minister Edi Rama has not spared jokes and labels towards the media, especially online ones, but said that he has no intention of interfering until the EU has come to its senses.

During a conference on the right to information, Rama described the media as a "glass half empty", while focusing in particular on online media, but including them all in one 'bag', without differentiation and even stating that they are territories where unfriendly forces intervene.

In his speech, the Prime Minister brought to attention the situation created some time ago, by himself, by attacking the media and violating their freedom, to the point that there were strong reactions from both international bodies and international organizations that protect media freedom.

In fact, the Prime Minister has been accused of having placed most of the media under control, while he himself has been involved in quite a few clashes with journalists, even intimidating them, even during media conferences.

" Online media became a black mark for freedom, for democracy. We also entered the annals of some strict countries, which left us with a nail there, media law, media law."

Some very basic things were required and the ability to know who was reading their house book.

There has been no self-regulation, but there has been ever-increasing self-degeneration.

We gave up and we have no intention of giving up again until the EU comes to its senses. Everyone can see that this is getting completely out of control.

Online media has become a territory where forces unfriendly to the EU also intervene. Naturally, if you leave your house without windows, without a roof and pretend to sleep comfortably, then you believe in a world that does not exist. We will do something that 24 EU countries do not have. In 24 EU countries, defamation is punishable by law.

"We will remove the criminal aspect for journalists. I know that it will not be put on merit in relation to freedom, I am very clear that you will not count it as a positive gesture ," said Edi Rama.

The Prime Minister also confirmed his stance on the media, which he considered a cauldron. But according to him, this term belongs to 2017, that is, 8 years ago. However, Rama expressed happiness that this label for the media has stuck and the people today confirm it.

" Kazan is a term from 2017. Because it was the right term, it stuck in their minds. That was the goal, so that there would be no need to tell them anymore."

If you ask the people today, they will confirm it. We will make the term defamation for journalists. Not for the elected, whoever is elected by the people should be punished if he slanders. Whoever informs about us, the elected by the people, should slander without being punished , "said Rama. /Pamphlet/
