The opposition has started marching through the streets of the capital, while the protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office did not last more than 45 minutes.
Opposition supporters gathered in front of the Prime Minister's Office building where they stayed until 8:25 PM and then headed to the Ministry of Interior, a form of protest against the State Police regarding criminality in the country.
Meanwhile, a police cordon has been set up near the former Dajti Hotel, along with a water cannon, with the aim of stopping the march of protesters towards the Ministry of Interior.
This is the first time that the State Police has applied such a scheme, thus blocking the movement of protesters from the Prime Minister's Office towards other institutions. The police claim that permission to protest was granted only for the Prime Minister's Office area.
