Socialist Party MP, Denis Deliu, has reacted after his exclusion from the lists of candidates for MPs in the parliamentary elections.
Deliu admitted that he had not fully expected this decision, but said that he is prepared for any situation.
" Lists are part of a vision and don't always happen the way everyone thinks ," he said.
He added that due to his work and contribution, he had expected to be on the open list, while the decision regarding the closed list had been previously clarified by Prime Minister Rama.
Despite offers from political opponents, Deliu said he does not see himself in any other party. “ I believe in the Socialist Party and its values ,” he concluded.
" To be honest, I didn't expect it 100%, but given my military background, I'm prepared for anything. Lists are part of a vision that doesn't always happen the way you think. For my work and contribution, I expected to be on the open list, because the prime minister made it clear that we wouldn't be on the closed list. I think the prime minister and the leadership have thought of something better. I've had offers from political opponents, but I can't imagine switching to another party. I believe in the Socialist Party and its values ," he said.
