The Democratic Party MP has held a strong debate in Parliament, accusing Parliament Speaker Niko Peleshi of turning the Assembly into a stable.
The cause was the intervention that the Speaker of Parliament made to the opposition legislator while he was speaking about the violation of the rules of procedure by the majority, by introducing 17 draft laws in one day without the opposition's consent.
"Don't treat the Parliament as a ping-pong issue. It's a pity for the Speaker when you see how he leads and manages the plenary sessions. There is a Constitution and a regulation on how the Parliament should function. The Conference of Speakers was held but there was no agreement as the leader of the majority group said, points were requested from us that were not accepted... (Peleshi intervenes)", said Noka, among other things.
After the speaker of parliament intervenes, Noka turns to him, reminding him that he was not a prompter:
"You have a bad habit, you are not a prompter to interrupt every MP. Don't interrupt, let me speak, when I finish, you interrupt...".
The Democratic MP then continued his speech by denouncing the majority for introducing agenda items in violation of the rules of procedure, without debate and agreement.
