Opposition MP Gazment Bardhi has reacted harshly to Prime Minister Edi Rama, after the latter attacked court decisions regarding illegal builders. Through a post on social media, Bardhi responded to Rama by accusing him of his own government having adopted decisions that favor illegal builders.
Bardhi emphasizes that judges and prosecutors are obliged to implement the rules approved by the government and the Parliament, adding that "they bear the signature of brainless and anti-Shtish people like Edi Rama."
" Edi Rama asked today, "How can prosecutors or judges of the Republic be engaged in favor of illegal builders? This requires access to the brains of prosecutor Gjeli and judge Balli."
Someone needs to remind him that he himself does not have access to his own brain, as long as he does not remember that he himself signed government decision No. 589, dated 7.9.2022, which favors illegal builders and legalizes anti-state.
"The judges and prosecutors of the Republic do not adopt rules, but are obliged to implement the rules that the government and the Assembly approve, regardless of whether they may not like them or find that they bear the signature of brainless and anti-Shtish people like Edi Rama ," he writes.
A few hours earlier, Prime Minister Rama had accused Judge Balliu and Prosecutor Gjeli, linking them to decisions that, according to him, protect illegal constructions. Rama called the court's decision to take on the defense of the representative of a building built without a permit in Tirana, which had been confiscated by the state and where the State Cadastre Agency (ASHK) was located, "scandalous".
" How can prosecutors or judges of the Republic be engaged in favor of illegal builders, this requires access to the brains of prosecutor Gjeli and judge Balliut; but how can a judge write that the Albanian Civil Service Commission has no evidence that it cannot continue to stay in a building where the ceilings and walls are falling, this requires heroic patience while waiting for the help of the Great God to awaken the organs of control and governance of the judiciary from their slumber ," Rama writes.
