Analyst Ergys Mërtiri spoke about the crisis within the opposition, emphasizing that Sali Berisha has become the main obstacle to creating a real alternative to Edi Rama.
"Unfortunately, Berisha is the person who kills any possibility of having an alternative to Rama. Without his votes, the opposition cannot defeat Rama, but with Berisha inside, it has no chance of winning," said Mërtiri.

According to him, the only solution to create a new political terrain is to remove Berisha from the active scene, leaving space for others to build an alternative and limiting his role only to support.
“Berisha should step back and let others choose, while he simply supports them,” Mertiri told Teme.
