The head of the Socialist Party parliamentary group, Taulant Balla, has reacted to Sali Berisha's statements regarding attacks on political party headquarters.
Berisha warned that any attack on the Democratic Party headquarters will be followed by strong reactions against Socialist Party headquarters throughout the country.
He asked DP branches to identify the SP headquarters in each district, guaranteeing a response in the event of other incidents.
In his response, Balla described the public call for attacks as a criminal offense. He mentioned that inciting violence, hatred and division constitutes a violation of the law, as does violence against police officers, including cases when the attacks are related to duty or when minors are involved in illegal actions. According to him, the assessment of these statements is up to the competent authorities.
Balla also addressed members of the Democratic Party, warning them not to engage in actions that could have legal consequences. He cited Tropoja as an example, noting that the area continues to face the consequences of previous calls for political clashes.

SB: "I ask all branches to conduct a full reconnaissance of SP headquarters in every district. And I guarantee Edi Rama that attacks on the DP headquarters will bring annihilating attacks on the headquarters of the criminal party throughout the country."
Public calls for the commission of criminal acts, calls for violence, incitement of hatred and division, attacks that amount to attempted murder against state police officers, attacks due to duty, involvement of minors in crime are obvious criminal acts. It is up to the competent authorities to assess them.
I have a fraternal appeal to the friends of the Democratic Party at the grassroots level, do not let yourselves be burdened by the orders of a foolish old man, who has sown fratricide for his own sake throughout his political life. Tropoja, for example, has suffered and continues to suffer from his calls and messages.
