Chief Prosecutor General, Olsan Çela, responded to the question of DP MP, Agron Gjekmarkaj, regarding electoral crimes.
Çela announced that several criminal cases are currently under investigation, spread throughout the country, related to the use of public administration and state funds during election campaigns.
According to him, investigations into these issues are still in progress and the results are expected to be announced within this year or early next year.
"There are a number of criminal cases that have begun investigation, where even for the offense you refer to, the data shows that there are several criminal cases, spread throughout the territory, related to the use of public administration, or even the use of public funds in the election campaign. These are under investigation and a result of the investigations remains to be seen this year or next year. It is the judges who will evaluate them," said Çela.
